Update: Slice MR Survey Fraud Case
As we learned yesterday, two related survey panel companies—SliceMR and Op4G—allegedly defrauded clients over a period of 10 years in an amount estimated to be $10M.
Whiskey Tango Research Bot has obtained copies of the indictment document as well as a supporting document that lists all known victims of the survey fraud perpetuated by the defendants.
The indictment document does not reveal anything substantial that was not covered in the AUSA’s press release. The supporting document (second attachment) is interesting in that it lists 74 victims, including several well known research firms.
As far as we can tell, no trial date has been set. We will be sure to provide updates if we learn anything further.
